does everyone have a buddy?

reading this post put me in mind of nothing so much as a high school field trip, where someone acted like an ass and the teacher had to give everyone a stern talking-to about appropriate public behavior:

House Minority Leader John Boehner told his conference to “behave like grown-ups” if the healthcare bill is passed by the House on Sunday.

The Ohio Republican made the warning at a quick closed-door meeting with fellow House GOP lawmakers at noon in the Capitol.

when you think about it, this one quote perfectly sums up everything that’s wrong with our political system: the house minority leader has to tell his fellows to behave like the adult professionals they’re supposed to be instead of like petulant teenagers.

Wtf, I wrote a comment and it didn’t post apparently. Am I getting caught in my own spam filter? Ohhh I bet it’s cuz I used naughty words..,0,2925446.story

So yeah, Boehner’s being fucking ricockulous. MMFA could’ve also mentioned the bit ^^^^^ where the House GOP cheered on a guy who was essentially resisting arrest. Black Reps have been spit on and called niggers and Barney Frank was called a faggot.. these are the Code Red Teabagger protestors, but the House GOP hasn’t spoken out against it when political etiquette and their past history dictates they must. (Remember the MoveOn Petraeus/Betray Us ad dustup awhile back?)
