Congress would demand that President Obama apologize to the officer the president said had “acted stupidly” in the arrest of a prominent Harvard professor under a resolution set to be introduced by one Michigan lawmaker.
Rep. Thaddeus McCotter (R-Mich.) will introduce a House resolution on Monday demanding Obama retract and apologize for remarks he has made about Cambridge Police Sergeant James Crowley this past week.
Wait, didn’t Obama already apologize, or at least give some kinda semi-culpa where he said he chose his words poorly or etc? Here I was thinking this was already as ridiculous as it could get. Between this and the recent bill banning human-animal hybrids you really get a sense that there are great minds at work here, yknow? (And check out Mary Landrieu, hard at work fronting Republican craziness like usual)
And by the way, what happens to Mitch McConnell if the hybrid bill passes? Is there a way we can grandfather in man-turtles or will he have to step down?
